Todd Carlson

Todd founded Storm Lake Capital in 2007. Prior to formalizing his investment activities through Storm Lake Capital, Todd executed many successful debt and equity placements in private companies and serves on several of their Boards. Todd is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Cadillac Casting, Inc. Todd also served as the Chief Financial Officer and shareholder of Image Tele/Video, Inc., a privately-held tier-one video services company. Prior to joining Image Tele/Video, Inc., Todd served as Vice President in corporate banking for seven years at NBD Bank. Throughout his career he gained extensive experience in crisis management and troubled loan work-out. Todd earned a Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern College and an M.B.A from the University of Iowa.

Alex Boosalis

Alex co-founded Storm Lake Capital in 2007. Prior to this period, Alex was a key member and equity partner in several private placements including Cadillac Castings and ATD Engineering and Machine, where he played a strategic role in both the management and board-level advisory of the acquired entities. Prior to the formation of Storm Lake Capital, he was Vice-President in the Equity Capital Markets Division of both Dain Bosworth and US Bank – Piper Jaffray. His further experience lies within deal structure and valuation analysis of distressed entities. Alex has also served as a Lead Market Maker on the Pacific Coast Options Exchange where he was positioned as an independent exchange member managing markets and positions on over 35 U.S. equity stocks. Alex earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a M.B.A. from the University of Iowa. He is a CFA charter holder and member of the Association for Investment Management and Research.

Scott Ronan

Scott is responsible for sourcing and evaluating potential investments, structuring transactions, leading due diligence and the operational efforts post transaction. He also researches and analyzes real estate investing for the SLC group and manages all tenant relationships. In 2008, he was also chosen to lead Whitebox Automotive Holdings as their President/Crisis Manager after the company was acquisitioned by a client. Prior to joining Storm Lake Capital in 2008, Scott spent seventeen years in various manufacturing, business development, sales and marketing roles for ArvinMeritor. Most recently, he served as Program Director for Global Aftermarket Growth Initiatives. He was responsible for analyzing, developing, and implementing accelerated growth plans for ArvinMeritor’s global aftermarket business, which has sales of over $700 million. Some of his other roles include: Program Director for Axle Alliance Company (Freightliner Heavy-Duty Axles), Business Unit Director of North American Wheel Ends, Director of Marketing & Strategic Planning for Worldwide Braking Systems, and Director of New Business Development for Worldwide Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket Parts. Scott received his B.A. in Merchandising Management from Michigan State University, and earned his M.B.A. in Marketing from The Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh.

Andrew Stumpf

Andrew’s responsibilities include sourcing, evaluating, executing, and managing investments. He also provides corporate finance related functions for portfolio companies which include financial and strategic planning and forecasting, financial reporting, year-end audit and tax filings and sophisticated financial modeling. Prior to joining Storm Lake Capital in 2007, Andrew served as Vice President in the Investment Banking Group at Stout Risius Ross Advisors, LLC in Chicago, Illinois. His investment banking experience includes mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, shareholder recapitalizations, leveraged buyouts, and the private placement of senior and subordinated debt. Andrew has served clients in manufacturing, distribution, and business services, with significant experience in the automotive and metal forming industries. Andrew also provided valuation and litigation advisory services to Fortune 500 and middle-market companies. Prior to joining Stout, Andrew worked as a CPA with Ernst & Young, LLP in its Assurance and Advisory Business Services group in Detroit. Andrew earned a Bachelor’s degree in Professional Accounting from Michigan State University and an M.B.A. from The Eli Broad Graduate School of Management at Michigan State University.
